Brew City Yarns – Coming Soon
Brew City Yarns is a family-owned and operated business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 2014, the mother and daughters team of Chelsea, Tahra and Tamra “brews” hand-dyed yarn in small batches, like the beers Milwaukee is so well-known for.
All Brew City Yarns fibers are humanely sourced from the U.K. and South America, and are offered in a range of yarns, from durable sock yarns to luxury fibers of all kinds.
New this spring are fingering yarns from Urth, a family owned yarn company specializing in hand dyed natural yarns. They believe knitting and crocheting are good for the body and mind, but also for the earth as a means of sustainable clothing production, and we agree!. Urth yarns are dyed and prepared by skilled hand of women at their studios in Mersin and Istanbul.
Urth plants a tree for every skein of their yarn that is sold. Through Trees for the Future they help provide families wit tools and knowledge to plant trees in Africa.
